What the Tide Brings;
When the Tide Comes

What the Tide Brings, is a short film that I had the immense pleasure and pride to help out on in very early drafts. Although the film went into a vastly different direction I'm still proud of this scene. With this sequence, I wanted to focus on the juxtaposition of this towering monument to perfection with a piece of art that has become more poignant with the weathering of time. The ideas of perfection and beauty and what it means to be oneself.

Good Morning Bear (Work in Progress)

I realised I was missing a comedy sequence and decided to write out a script for a short film and board it in two weeks. As I was boarding I began to realise I had made it way too long haha. So I re-wrote it as I was boarding to be a simpler story with a clear setup and payoff. I plan to update once it is finished!

Destiny: A Duel of Twin Steel (Work in Progress)

As a personal project, I have taken and adapted some lore/story segments from the popular Sci-fi fantasy game series: Destiny. As large swathes of story in the games are hidden away in collectible book entries I felt it could be a good exercise to piece some of it together and then adapt that story for film/a limited series.I wrote the script seen here and began boarding. The story follows Rezyl Azzir, a Guardian, as he tries to take on unfathomable horrors to protect humanity, but is he alone enough?This project will continue to be updated as I finish sequences.

Mojo Swaptop

Mojo Swaptops is an exciting 3D kids show produced and created by Blue Zoo. On the show I worked as a storyboard revisionist, working to address notes ranging from changing a pose to re boarding a scene.

Please Write Soon

Please Write Soon is an adaptation of the Michael Rosen book of the same name currently in development, It focuses on the letters a young boy and his cousin sent to each other during World War 2. On the film I worked as the principal Storyboard Artist, here is a small selection of scenes I worked on.

My Final year Student-Film: Static Focus, is a film I directed and worked on alongside 8 team members. On the film, I worked as the only story artist, lead animator, compositor, and a character designer.Synopsis: With the ability to change your focus like a television channel, Stevie finds himself static, frustrated, and unlike everyone else, without a remote. With no way to control his channel, he needs to take a minute to step back and breathe before he can move on with his day, despite the disadvantage.This film was born from an analogy I heard when I was diagnosed with ADHD: it's like you're watching the TV and the channel keeps changing on its own, but you don't have the remote.

Without further ado! Here is the final film!! I hope you enjoy it!!

Static Focus: Boards

In Static Focus we follow Stevie, in a world where most can control their focus with a remote control, Stevie struggles as he doesn't have a remote. We follow his struggles as he tries to overcome the work-day.This film was quite personal and the story was born from my ADHD but I think the way we handled it is universally understood.
